I’m Jack, and I am passionate about helping security teams alleviate the pains of traditional SIEMs. I started my career in digital forensics, incident response, cloud infrastructure, and software development.

I’m currently the Founder & CTO of Panther: A cybersecurity startup with the mission of making security teams smarter and faster than attackers.

As a security practitioner, I worked on the Yahoo Paranoids and Airbnb’s CSIRT team, later leading the detection engineering function. At Airbnb, I built an open-source project called StreamAlert, which was released in 2017 and widely adopted.

In 2018, I founded Panther to continue building on that concept and create a unified platform from which any team could benefit. In 2021, Panther achieved unicorn status, and today, we are grateful to serve some of Silicon Valley’s most respected security teams and technology companies.
